JEWELLERY
The wearing of jewellery by pupils in school can be dangerous and, as a general rule, we prefer children not to wear any jewellery. However, if children have pierced ears they may wear small studs only. In line with Local Authority guidance, all children must be able to remove their own jewellery for PE otherwise exclusion from the lesson will be necessary. May we advise parents who intend to have their child’s ears pierced, to do so during the summer holiday to allow 4 - 6 weeks healing time. Please help us to keep your child safe in school.
