Back in January 2007 we were awarded the Healthy Schools Silver Award. This year, we are going for gold. Mrs Vaughton and Mrs Fenton are currently responsible for co-ordinating 'Healthy Schools' at Wombwell Park Street and they do a superb job! On-going events The Captain's Table Each month, children are nominated to sit at the Captain's Table for lunch. They can bring a guest along too!
School Dinners Children are encouraged to invite a member of their family to join them for a school dinner. Many parents, grandparents and carers are now helping us make lunctime an enjoyable 'family affair'.
